FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: Can you tell me more about the dog I'm interested in?

A: Since most of our dogs come from overseas where they reside either in a shelter or a foster home, the information we have about them is limited. Everything were currently know about the dog will be listed in his or her description.

Q: Is the dog good with cats/dogs/kids?

A: Please, refer to the dog's description. We provide all the information about dog's compatibility with other animals and people to the best of our knowledge.

Q: Can I meet the dog I'm interested in?

A: We are a small foster-based rescue team, which means we do not have a centralized shelter that you can visit. All of our dogs stay in private foster homes either around US or overseas. Therefore, we do not do meet and greets. Once you are finalized as the best fit family, however, we do bring the dog to your home for an introduction and a 14-day trial period. We feel that meeting the dog at your own home gives you a better understanding of whether he/she will be a good fit.

Q: Ok, I'm ready to proceed, what's next?

A: Please, fill out our online pre-screening form, so we can get to know you better: ADOPTION APPLICATION. The application is free and you are not under any obligation to adopt from us.

Q: I filled out an application, what's next?

A: Applications are reviewed and processed typically within 1-3 weeks (depending on when the dog is scheduled to arrive to the county or be available for adoption). Families that qualify will get a phone call from one of our team members. The applications get reviewed based on the order they were received. If you do not get a phone call from us, it doesn't mean that you are not worthy of a dog. Either we have enough qualified families or you're not the best possible match for this particular dog at this time. Feel free to take a look at other possible adoptables on our website or Facebook page.

Q: I still have questions, can I speak to someone over the phone?

A: Yes. Feel free to give Maya (our adoption coordinator) a call 11am-2pm or 7pm-9pm
